Name

Bond Store

Description

Set within the ground floor of the former Jones Bond Store, this interior fitout reimagines a historic grain warehouse as a cafe and wine bar. The building dates to the 1800s, when the Yarra River ran up to its edge and boats unloaded grain directly into the store. It is one of the few remaining reminders of Melbourne’s working riverfront, later converted into apartments in the 1990s.
